The Australian National University (ANU) is an education-intensive research institute of international distinction. To help the University maintain its position of distinction in the world, it is critical that the ANU College of Medicine, Biology and Environment and ANU College of Physical Sciences constantly seek to improve the quality of our research and education; respond to external pressures and ensure that our administration and technical support functions provide seamless assistance to the research and educational agendas of the Colleges and University.

The academic and administrative leadership of our two Colleges will be constantly seeking out new ways to improve and/or grow the our educational and research activities to maintain our distinct place in the world. The College may initiate and/or fund any number of projects to enhance our core activities; the way we promote them to the community; or the way we support them through administrative functions.
